The Vegan Street Food Tour begins at 12:30 p.m. & lasts about 3 hours. We explore some of Ortigia's most iconic sites as you nosh on 2 savory and 2 sweet plant-based versions of authentic Sicilian street food. At the same time, Tonia shares her knowledge of the island's enduring history, gruesome Greek myths, and unexplored vegan past. She also highlights some of her favorite vegan-friendly spots and acts as your personal photographer during the tour. We suggest you take the tour as soon as you arrive, as she provides an overview of her favorite sites and vegan fare. The tour offers one complimentary bottle of water. The Vegan Happy Hour Tour begins at 6 p.m. & lasts 1½ hours. It includes tasting three organic Sicilian wines paired with handmade decadent Modica chocolate. The next stop combines exquisitely crafted vegan cheese samplings with cocktails curated by a master mixologist at Ortigia's vegan hotspot, MOON. What a perfect place to be at dinnertime! If you let her know in advance, Tonia will book a table for your dinner party. The Happy Hour Tour is unavailable on Tuesdays. The Vegan Wine & Chocolate Pairing begins at 6 p.m. and lasts approximately 45 minutes. This short but divinely sweet pairing of locally produced, organic wine and exquisitely handcrafted Sicilian chocolate is a heavenly match. Chiara or Ramona will describe the superb combination of flavors, suggest pairings, and explain how the chocolate is created. But the biggest treat is the chocolate tastings are unlimited! Chocolate and wine are both available to be purchased and make excellent gifts. The tickets are 35€ each. 🍫All chocolates are gluten-free, lactose-free and dairy-free. 🍷 The wine is vegan, organic, and gluten-free. The Vegan Cooking Masterclass begins at 9:30 a.m. and lasts two hours. This is an extraordinary opportunity to create plant-based cuisine in Ortigia's hottest vegan kitchen. The collaboration between Tonia and MOON provides a hands-on experience to craft your own Sicilian vegan cannoli or MOON's signature nut-based and lactose-free cheeses.
